This proposal notes a lack of demand due to lack of education, lack of capital, insufficient availability of water, and cost of solutions as major challenges. The team recommends establishing partnerships between micro-finance institutions, the public sector, ICT, NGOs, Water.org, and the bottom of the pyramid to create and increase demand for clean water and sanitation locally. The team suggests leveraging cell phone SMS, radio, lottery incentives, guerrilla seminars, and schools, to increase interest and capital.
